In the small town of Mooreville, Mississippi, a t-shirt brand was created to celebrate and encourage the best of masculinity. It was named after the founders grandfathers, Cecil, a WWII veteran and business owner, and James, a farmer and father of five.
This business is run by hard workers who design and print the shirts, including the most popular one at PodunkAnnie's - the John Wayne-inspired t-shirt, "Life Is Tough, But It's Tougher If You're Stupid." They use high-quality fabrics and print with water-based inks for a soft vintage feel.
Importantly, ten percent of their sales goes to local boys sports programs working to build the character of boys into strong men.

At PodunkAnnie's one of our main goals has always been to feature talented artists and makers with unique perspectives and southern flare. Brooke Brown, creator of Cluster Funk Studio, is one of those.
Cluster Funk Studio is an eclectic mix of illustration, design, and printmaking. Artist and designer, Brooke uses limited color palettes, textures, and layers to create a midcentury printing press aesthetic mixed with contemporary themes. She hand draws everything in Illustrator and Photoshop.
Brown explores themes of country/western and southern identity in her works. Most include a subtle sense of humor to create unique pieces.
She is most known for her western critters crop tops/shirts and illustrations. This series plays off of the themes of spaghetti westerns that Brown used to watch every Saturday with her grandfather. She includes child-like elements along with adult themes to honor her late grandfather as well as her childhood. These pieces bring up a sense of nostalgia and fun that our customers love.
All Cluster Funk is archival and printed in Chattanooga, Tennessee. See all the Cluster Funk creations we carry at PodunkAnnie's.
